I am an artist, curator and designer with a background that encompasses industrial design and manufacture, architectural collaborations and fine art practice.  I am co-founder of the creative partnership 'rootoftwo' that specialises in the design of experimental objects and spaces.  I recently completed a PhD at Gray's School of Art, Aberdeen that explores a form of 'technology-led-practice' at the intersection of art and design disciplines.  In 2008, I will begin an Assistant Professorship in the School of Art & Design at the University of Michigan.  Previously I have worked as a freelance 3D Designer; an Associate Lecturer at Leeds College of Art & Design; and as a Designer/Model Maker for Evenflo Company, Inc.  I have an MA, Art as Environment - Manchester Metropolitan University; MFA, Sculpture - Ohio State University; BA(Hons), Fine Art - Glasgow School of Art.
